Dave King has 4 pressing Rangers questions that MUST be answered as Graeme Souness gaffe called out

Concerned Dave King reckons he has the same key questions as "any Rangers supporter" as he put the clubs injury woes and transfer policy in focus.

King stepped down as chairman in 2020 and has had a frosty relationship with the club at times since. He was frequently at odds Douglas Park, who replaced him as chairman, but his successor left the club last year to be replaced by John Bennett. And while he has heaped praised on Bennett's era at the top of the Scottish Premiership giants he still has concerns over some of the issues that have face the Light Blues this term.

And with a blockbuster top of the table clash with Celtic coming up this weekend, with Oscar Cortes, Kieran Dowell and Danilo among the injured summer recruits likely to miss derby day.

King told The Herald: "I watch every single game. I watch on Rangers TV wherever I am, I can access it all over the world. I watch all of the games.

"There are certain games that are on ESPN and all the European games are shown in South Africa so I don't miss anything. It is good. It is nice to have some of the frustrations that the supporters have without knowing what the answers are to some of my own questions.

"What is happening with the transfer policy? Why can't we keep guys on the pitch? We improved the squad to try and narrow the gap and then the guys aren't getting any playing time. Is it recruitment? Is it medical? I am just like any other supporter in that sense.

"I must say I didn't know much about the manager. Graeme Souness' comment didn't necessarily help by saying he would have gone for [Frank]
