Rangers fixture conspiracy silenced despite Celtic 'anomaly' as the REAL post split sin pinpointed

Andy Walker has told Rangers that they can have no complaints over the post-split fixtures - as he admits St Mirren are the only club that could feel hard done by.

The SPFL announced the final five Premiership fixtures for the top and bottom six with every point set to count in the the run in as Celtic and Philippe Clement's side battle for to claim the title. Both sides have encounters against Hearts, Kilmarnock, St Mirren and Dundee respectively - but Rangers face three away games to ensure an even split with home fixtures.

The Hoops on the other hand were due an extra date at Celtic Park - seeing them end up with three fixtures on home turf including a potential title decider with the Light Blues on May 11. That has led to some Rangers' fans raising concerns about the extra game on home turf generated by the supercomputer for the crucial final five.

However, Walker insisted that only Stephen Robinson's men could be allowed a gripe after the "anomaly" of facing Celtic away three times this term. He told Go Radio: "I think every club have got 19 home and 19 away.

"The slight anomaly is that St Mirren have got Rangers and Hearts three times at home, and St Mirren have also got Celtic away three times. I can't see anyone complaining.

"We are at a stage now where it's neck and neck, where you have got to win your games. The only reason you are losing at this stage is pressure. The only reason Rangers lost was just the pressure of the game and they haven't had players in this position before."
