Rangers fans flock to Edmiston House to snap up new home kit as Castore 'revolution' offering receives warm response

The new Rangers home kit has officially been released and dozens of the club's supporters are queuing up to get their hands on the fresh design.

The Ibrox side teased the launch on their social media accounts throughout Tuesday, releasing a short video clip with the tagline ‘Revolution Ready’ - referencing this summer's squad rebuild - which gave supporters a glimpse at what they can expect Michael Beale ’s new-look side to wear next term.

And fans got a proper look at the finished article this morning, with The royal blue jersey, made by Liverpool-based manufacturers Castore, featuring darker toned stripes mixed with light blue. The newly imagined collar will also feature a lot more prominently next season, with a red rim around it. Beale's men will also be kitted out in a strip featuring a safer gambling message encouraging safe gambling with Kindred's Zero % Mission.

Men's and women's replicas start at a pricey £70 but that doesn't seem to be putting off the legions of Gers fans desperate to get their hands on one, as dozens of supporters formed a long, snaking queue outside the club shop inside New Edmiston House earlier this morning, despite the kit being available to purchase online from 8am.

The 23/24 campaign will be the fourth season of Rangers' deal with Castore and looks set to be debuted in the upcoming friendly match with German giants Hamburg, as well as Allan McGregor's goodbye testimonial with Newcastle United.
