Aljaz Skorjanec has said 'it's scary really' as he marked two weeks since he became a dad for the first time. The former Strictly Come Dancing star and his wife Janette Manrara have been keeping their fans and followers updated since the arrival of their baby girl.

The couple, who announced they were expecting their first child together back in February, took fans along with them on their pregnancy journey which came after they planned to start IVF treatment before Janette fell pregnant. They then confirmed their daughter, Lyra Rose Skorjanec, had made her entrance on July 28.

The new parents have been in their baby bubble ever since and in his latest update, Aljaz was seen in the early hours of the morning on Friday (August 11) on his Instagram Story after feeding his little one before Jantte took over and did the next.

Speaking to the camera, the 33-year-old could be seen with Lyra resting on his shoulder. "It's amazing how much more they eat every single week, how much they want to eat, how much more frequently they want to do it. Today's Friday so it's two weeks, little Lyra is two weeks old.

"Seh's getting taller, bigger. It's scary really how quickly everything is going but right now she's fast asleep. She's been staying up a lot during the day so at night she's tired and absolutely exhausted. But she wants to do it. She wants to do it herself. We're really lucky."

It comes after Janetter shared an update with fans on her struggle to recover from her recent C-section. Last week the Strictly dancer-turned-presenter told how she's having to take medication after encountering a problem following the birth of her first child.
