Rangers and Celtic headline Premier Sports Cup festival of football as fans gets to watch all eight games live

Holders Rangers and Scottish champions Celtic have been selected for live TV in their Premier Sports Cup last 16 clashes - with TV watching punters set for a weekend festival of football.

Every game will be aired live either on the TV channel or the website. Philippe Clement's side will look to defend their crown against St Johnstone at Hampden with the match to be shown on Premier Sports on Saturday, August 17. Rivals Celtic were knocked out at this stage last season and face a tough test when Hibs arrive at Parkhead on Sunday, August 18 at 3,00pm - as Brendan Rodgers look to claim the one trophy that has alluded him since his return to Scottish football.

Hearts face a tough test as they enter at the knockout stage with a trip to Falkirk - with John McGlynn's side catching the eye in the group stage. The game will be screened on Saturday in the 3pm slot. Jimmy Thelin has been handed a home draw as Aberdeen welcome Queen's Park and the game will be in front of the cameras on the website. Elsewhere, Motherwell will face Kilmarnock. St Mirren, who join Killie in entering after the group stage following their European exploits, will face Dundee United at Tannadice. Dundee will clash with Airdrieonians at Dens Park and Spartans welcome Ross County.
