'Quality signing' Sheffield Wednesday supporters' verdict on third summer signing Will Vaulks

Sheffield Wednesday have made Will Vaulks their third signing of the summer as they look to build ahead of the upcoming League One campaign.

The Owls missed out on place at Wembley after losing to Sunderland in the League One play-off semi-finals on aggregate, with the Black Cats going on to earn promotion back to the Championship.

Wednesday boss Darren Moore has been keen to re-tool and improve his squad ahead of the new season, with Vaulks their third signing of the summer alongside Ben Heneghan and David Stockdale.

Vaulks' arrival at Hillsborough is a huge coup for Moore and Wednesday. The Welsh international reportedly turned down at least two offers from Championship clubs to join Wednesday and will definitely give the Owls added quality in the middle of the park.

And in typical fashion, Wednesday fans have taken to social media to voice their delight at Vaulks' signing...

Ohh I’m getting giddy for this coming season

Quality signing..

I’ve always said our club is bigger then most that are in the championship and are more appealing, the fact he turned down the championship for us shows we are bigger
