Pundits in disagreement over Wolves vs Leicester City prediction

Wolverhampton Wanderers will be looking to extend their winning streak to two games when they face Leicester City in the Premier League this Sunday (4:30pm kick-off).

The Wanderers came away with all three points and kept a clean sheet against Tottenham Hotspur last time out, with Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker on the scoresheet.

The Foxes meanwhile, shared the spoils at the King Power Stadium against West Ham but remain winless in their last four league games.

Ahead of Sunday's clash, pundits have been giving their thoughts as to what they believe the outcome at Molineux could be.

Former Liverpool man Mark Lawrenson is expecting Bruno Lage's side to share the spoils on home soil, in a 1-1 draw.

"Leicester will be disappointed to concede an equaliser so late against West Ham, especially because they had recovered from a poor start and played pretty well for most of the game," he told BBC Sport.

"The Foxes still have some key players out injured, but at least there were some signs there of them coming back into form a little bit.

"Unfortunately, their habit of conceding set-pieces and late goals has cost them a lot this season, and Wolves must be thinking they can take advantage too."

But Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has a different view as to what the outcome in the West Midlands will be.

"Leicester are struggling at the moment, so I see Wolves winning this one," he added. "The Foxes have endured a difficult season with regard to injuries and have won just one of their last five Premier League games.

"Wolves, on the other hand, have been impressive under Bruno Lage. If they beat Leicester and top it off with a win against Arsenal, they could have top-four aspirations!
