Predicted Hull FC team to play Salford Red Devils with Jake Connor back at fullback

After back to back home defeats, Hull FC are on the road for the final time this year as they travel to Salford Red Devils on Thursday night. The Black and Whites currently sit in ninth position in Super League with just three games to go.

With twelve players out through injury, Hull head coach Brett Hodgson has made three changes to his 21-man-squad. Here's how they could line up.

Fullback: Jake Connor - Back from suspension and back in his favourite position.

Right Wing: Harvey Barron - Was targeted by Wakefield last week but never threw the towel in. Was unlucky with a couple of the incidents that on another day might have fallen his way. Now is the time to get behind him.

Right Centre: Will Smith - Stepped into centre when Davy Liiten first came on at fullback last week. Could show his utility value again and use his experience to help out his winger.

Left Centre: Connor Wynne - A tough few weeks as bans have seen him in and out of the team, not to mention HIA's and further disruption caused by injuries elsewhere. It's certainly not ideal and they're all contributing factors.

Left Wing: Mitieli Vulikijapani - The Fijian has done okay in recent weeks. Could get the nod on the wing.

Halfback: Ben McNamara - Back from injury last week and will look to build on that performance this week.

Halfback: Luke Gale - Was poor last week . Needs to pick himself up again.

Prop: Ligi Sao - Got to be bang at it from the word go. He's got it in him.

Hooker: Jordan Johnstone - Houghton and Lovodua are both injured, so Johnstone may well get a run out, with Balmforth potentially on the bench.
