Popular Greater Manchester restaurant announces surprise comeback weeks after closure

A Italian restaurant in Irlam has made a surprise announcement just weeks after confirming its closure in a 'heartbreaking' statement.

In July, the owners of La Rosa Bella said they were making the 'difficult decision' to close and confirmed their final service for August 11. However, this morning, the team issued a update on the restaurant's future.

In a Facebook post, the owners said they had listened to customer feedback and decided to 'embark on a new journey' by reinventing the Italian eatery with a new concept and name. The owners also shared with followers more information on what would come next and the changes they were planning on making.

The full post, entitled 'a new beginning' read: "First, we want to say a massive thank you to all our customers who supported us by visiting the restaurant, sharing their words and good wishes, or engaging with us on social media.

"Over the years, La Rosa Bella has become more than just a restaurant - it’s been a place of cherished memories, shared laughter, and unforgettable meals with family and friends. We’ve listened closely to your heartfelt requests not to close our doors, and after much thought, we have some exciting news to share.

"We’ve decided to embark on a new journey by reinventing La Rosa Bella with a fresh concept and a new name! This decision didn’t come easy, but your love and loyalty inspired us to take this leap. The new restaurant will feature a completely revamped décor and menu, but the heart and soul of La Rosa Bella will remain intact."
