'I loved every minute' - Scott McTominay gives emotional goodbye speech after Manchester United exit

Scott McTominay has sat down in an interview to say goodbye to Manchester United fans to thank them for their excellent support and because he wanted to 'send his love'.

Academy graduate McTominay was promoted to the United first-team squad by Jose Mourinho in April 2017 and he leaves the club for Napoli having made 255 appearances.

United have received a fixed fee of €30.5million (£25.7m) for McTominay and they have inserted a 10 per cent sell-on clause into the deal with Napoli for the midfielder.

McTominay enjoyed the best season of his career last term. After McTominay's transfer to Napoli was confirmed on deadline day, United released an interview with the 27-year-old and he made an emotional goodbye speech to fans.

"I'm just so grateful and thankful for the players, the coaching staff, managers and all the fans as well. I would not be in this position without them and my family.
