The force has released an image of a man they want to speak to, who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

A CCTV image appears to show the man wearing a white t-shirt and khaki-coloured hat. He also has a beard in the picture.

Anyone who knows the man, or who has any information on his whereabouts is being urged to contact police immediately.

Detective Constable Chloe Hill from Salford CID said: "We have exhausted all our lines of enquiry up until this stage, but now is the right time to seek the public’s assistance in helping us try and identify the man pictured who we believe could help up with our investigation. If anyone knows this man or if the individual in questions sees this, please get in touch with us."
