Woman's horror after being 'groped' by random man on way home from gym

A woman whose breast was 'groped' by a random man as she innocently walked home near the city centre has said she feels 'violated' by the alleged attack.

The victim, who has asked not to be named, says she was walking back along Cheetham Hill Road after going swimming at around 4pm on Sunday (August 13).

It is then that she claims a man approached her as she scrolled through her mobile phone, 'groped' her breast and then casually walked off before two quick thinking people pulled over to help.

The victim said she thought she would have been safe walking along the typically busy main road but has now been left feeling 'confused, shocked and violated' by the alleged attack.
