Police release CCTV image following Metrolink attack
Detectives have launched an appeal after a man was attacked on a Metrolink tram. Several of the tram's windows were also damaged following the alleged assault.
Police have now released this CCTV still of a man they want to speak to as part of their investigation. The attack took place on a tram near to Failsworth, Oldham at about 6.30pm on Friday (September 22).
The victim suffered minor injuries. Officers were called to the scene but were unable to find the suspect.

Police say they would like to speak to the man pictured as they believe he may be able to help with their enquiries. Insp Stephen Griffin said: "Both staff and passengers should be able to feel safe when working and travelling on public transport.
"This sort of behaviour will not be tolerated and we are working hard to investigate the reports we have received. If you were on the tram and have not yet spoken to an officer, I would ask you to please contact us with any information you may have."
