Police patrols have been increased across Manchester to 'protect communities' following the violence in Israel.
Greater Manchester Police say they are working with local authorities across the region, with additional officers deployed to a number of different areas to 'reassure those who live, work or study nearby' and to ensure an 'efficient response' to any reported incidents.
The police powers come after Hamas terrorists killed scores of civilians in the south of the country over the weekend, with more than a hundred also taken hostage and brought back to the Palestinian enclave.

The Israeli military has been retaliating, using munitions, which has resulted in more than 400 Palestinian deaths.
Greater Manchester Police say they are working with the Community Safety Trust and are 'continuously assessing the impact on communities' to 'ensure that any appropriate action is taken'.
It comes after Home Secretary Suella Braverman announced she would be writing to police chiefs in England and Wales urging them to 'step up patrols and use all available powers' to prevent anti-Jewish disorder.
