Police incident closes Swansea road in both directions - live updates

A residential road in Swansea has been shut following an incident. Officers from South Wales Police have been dispatched to the scene in King Edwards Road in Brynmill.

The street is closed at the junction of St Helens Crescent, Bay View Crescent and Brynymor Road, the force said. It added the road is expected to remain shut for "some time" and has advised motorists to find alternative routes.

Traffic monitoring service Inrix says the road is closed in both directions but "traffic is coping well".
