Police close road due to incident outside care home - latest updates

South Wales Police have closed a road outside a care home in Beddau due to an incident outside the home.

In a post to Twitter just after 5.30am on Friday morning, South Wales Police said: "**ROAD CLOSURE** - We are at the scene of an incident outside the Llantrisant Care Home, Heol Ddu, Beddau. The road is currently closed in both directions outside the location. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible."
