Police close main road after crash between car and motorbike

A main road in Bury was closed off by police this morning after a crash between a car and motorbike.

Bolton Road was shut off in both directions near the junction with Kensington Drive. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were called to the crash at around 8.30am.

Paramedics were also reportedly on the scene. It has not yet been confirmed whether anyone was seriously injured.

There was slow traffic in the area due to the closure. Some buses were also being diverted away.
