Another crash involving double decker bus closes main road outside shopping centre with police on scene
Another crash involving a double decker bus closed a busy main road on Tuesday (October 17) with police called out to the scene.
The collision happened on Manchester Road (A6) beside the McDonald's and shopping centre in Walkden and appeared to involve a Stagecoach bus and a small white minibus.
Pictures from the scene on Tuesday evening show a number of police cars in attendance helping to manage traffic after the main road had reopened.

The bus was damaged at the front and also at the side doors, with the minibus appearing to have a smashed back window following the collision.
It is unclear if there were any injuries sustained in the collision, however Greater Manchester Police have been approached for further details.
Elsewhere on Tuesday, emergency services had also attended another crash involving a bus and a car in Bolton, that left six in hospital including a woman who suffered 'major trauma related injuries'.
