Police close busy road after person knocked down by car
A person was left hurt after being hit by a car on a busy road in north Manchester.
The incident happened on Moston Lane at around 6pm on Friday (February 23). Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said.
The person suffered minor injuries. No arrests were made.

Moston Lane was closed off as officers responded to the crash. The closure - between Ashley Lane and Gill Street - then remained in place for several hours as accident investigation work was carried out.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At approximately 6pm yesterday (23/2/24), officers were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Moston Lane in Manchester. The pedestrian received minor injuries and no arrests were made."
