Police at scene of crash with roads blocked at major junction - live updates
Police have blocked off part of a major road following a crash in south Manchester.
Emergency services are at the scene of the road traffic collision which took place near Birchfields Park.
The junction of Anson Road, Birchfields Road and the A6010 Dickenson Road has been partially blocked off by police.
According to one eyewitness, three police vehicles are parked in the middle of the junction directing traffic around them.
The incident is believed to have taken place this evening. The Manchester Evening News paramedics were also at the scene.
Several police vehicles have been spotted at the junction between Rusholme and Longsight with ambulances attending earlier.
The M.E.N. understands that a person has been taken to hospital. Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for comment.
