Pokemon Unite Espeon: Players React to Eevee Evolution Release

Pokemon Unite is a massively popular free-to-play multiplayer title in the hugely successful franchise.

It was recently revealed that Espeon would be added to the game, with the Eevee evolution being available for the first time.

With Eevee and its evolutions being some of the most popular Pokemon in the entire franchise, the announcement of Espeon being added to the ever-growing game got a ton of reaction online from the player base.

Here are some of the reactions from the Pokemon Unite player base to the upcoming release of Espeon in the game.

The official Pokemon Unite Twitter account confirmed that Espeon would be coming to the game on Monday 16th May 2022: “This Ranged Attacker uses its psychic power to predict your victory! Espeon arrives in #PokemonUNITE on 5/16.”

Fans have been reacting to the news since it was dropped by the developers, and many on Twitter were extremely happy that the ‘Eeveelution’ is coming to the game.

One player noted: “[my] Favourite eeveelution is is in the game,” whilst another stated that they “might start playing now.”

This view was shared by other gamers, with one tweeting: “Second favourite pokemon is coming? I guess I’ll be playing again now (also holding out hope for Umbreon still).”

A thread on the r/PokemonUnite Subreddit also discussed the official announcement of the evolution joining the game.

There were Redditors on the thread who were asking why the developers are not looking at bringing more Speedsters to the game.
