Piers Morgan says Kensington Palace have 'made things 100x worse' and encouraged Kate Middleton conspiracy theorists

Piers Morgan has weighed in on the controversial royal family photo that has been pulled by some of the world's biggest photo agencies.

The TV personality and journalist warned that Kensington Palace have "made things 100x worse" if a picture agency's "astounding" claims of photo manipulation regarding a photo of Princess Kate and her children are true.

On Sunday night, the world's biggest photo agencies including AP, APF and Getty Images issued a "kill notice" over a photograph issued by the Palace to media organisations across the globe, confirming that they they had each deleted the image from their individual libraries.

Taking to X, former Good Morning Britain host Piers - a staunch supporter of the Prince and Princess of Wales - wrote: "If, as this astounding @AP kill notice claims, the Palace manipulated that Kate photo to quash all the wild conspiracy theories about her, then they’ll have just made things 100x worse."

Over the weekend, hawk-eyed royal fans on social media spotted that the sleeve of Princess Charlotte's arm did not line-up. Questions were also raised over Prince George's right hand being out of focus.

Portrait photographer Martin Bamford posted the image on X, writing: "Professional photographer here. Look closely at Princess Charlotte's wrist. This is what happens when you composite layers in Photoshop. I'm not speculating on why the photo was edited like this, but it's weird."
