Picture police want everyone to see of prisoner on the run for a decade
Police have released a new picture of a man who has been on the run for a decade - ten years after his first mugshot.
Michael Seddon was 22 when he was part of a gang which carried out a terrifying robbery of a 78-year-old farmer, tying him to a chair and beating him for four hours.
He was jailed in 2011, and met prison officer Erica Whittingham, previously ofUttoxeter. The pair started a relationship, and Whittingham helped Seddon plan his escape, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Seddon left a decoy in his cell to trick guards before meeting Erica Whittingham who was waiting in her car outside HMP Sudbury. While on the run, Whittingham remained in contact with him, meeting Seddon in hotels across England and buying him gifts, such as clothes, over a six month period.
In March this year Merseyside Police said Seddon was on the run again after he breached his licence conditions. Officers are continuing to appeal for information and have released a new image of Seddon in the hope of him being located.
He is described as 5ft 9in tall, of slim build, with blue eyes, short brown hair and could have a beard. He also has a scar to the left of his mouth and a scar on his right elbow.
Seddon has links to Hampshire, Sussex and mainly the Dorset area. Anyone who has information as to Seddon's whereabouts is asked to contact @MerPolCC, 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously with reference 23000266166.
