Piccadilly Basin stabbing victim fighting for life as attempted murder investigation launched
A man remains in hospital with ‘life-threatening injuries’ following a stabbing in the city centre earlier this week.
The victim was attacked near to Dale Street, in the Northern Quarter, at approximately 6.30pm on Wednesday evening (August 16), alongside another who suffered serious injuries. Officers are now promising more boots on the ground in Piccadilly Basin, and are following lines of enquiry in relation to six men who were believed to be at the scene at the time.
