Four charged after with attempted murder after 'serious assault' in Northern Quarter
Four people have been charged with attempted murder after two men were the victim of a 'serious assault' in Manchester city centre.
Police were called to Dale Street at around 6:30pm on Wednesday, August 16 and found two men had suffered serious injuries. One of them remains in a critical condition in hospital where he is being treated for 'life-threatening injuries' Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
Mohammed Al-Enizi Hameed, 36, of Brighton Grove, Rusholme; Hussein Muhalhal, 20, of Lower Park Road, Longsight; Fares Hassan, 21, of Ribston Street, Hulme; and Hussein Mouhelhel, 21, of Wynnstay Grove, Fallowfield, have all been charged with attempted murder and section 18 assault.

They have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court today (Saturday).
In a statement, GMP said the injured men's families 'continue to be supported by specially trained officers and are aware of the progress being made in this investigation.'
