Philippe Clement spewing Rangers nonsense gives Hotline big Beale vibes and Celtic can almost taste sweetest title

It's the morning after the night before and while it was third time lucky at Dens to get the game on, Rangers fans will be wishing it had been called off for another washout.

Philippe Clement and his troops have suffered a nightmare 72 hours and instead of being the two points ahead of Celtic, they find themselves three behind and the title destiny is now in the hands of Brendan Rodgers and his champions after the Light Blues' shock loss at Ross County, draw with Dundee last night. The manager insisted post-match his team did give him the reaction he was after, but just lacked a cutting edge. However, that went down like a lead balloon with the hotline callers.

John Allardyce, Edinburgh said: "Rangers have carried on from their Dingwall dross. They are just clueless. What a time to lose form. They won't win the league and Hearts will beat them on Sunday. I am speechless." Jamie Thompson, Yoker said: "Utter disgrace these Rangers players. League over and Hearts will beat this lot."

Neil Renton, Leith said : "It’s all very well Rangers boss Philippe Clement saying fate is in their hands. One thing that isn’t is bottle. That, along with his winning and determined reputation, is long gone." Drew Ferguson, Oban added: "Philippe Clement's interview after the Dundee game was nonsense and he knows this to protect his players as he has five games yet to play. There was very few clear chances as the quality of this Rangers team was poor with no guile or creativity. On the plus side he now knows the dead wood he will have to clear out during the summer."

Michael Beale had a nightmare start to the campaign and was replaced by Clement, but some callers could see a worrying shade of the former boss in the current man in the dugout.
