What channel is Aberdeen v Celtic? Live stream, TV and kick off details for Scottish Cup semi final

This weekend sees clubs take a break from Premiership action as the four remaining sides in the Scottish Cup battle it out for glory.

First up is Aberdeen's showdown with Celtic and It's been a busy week up at Pittodrie, with Dave Cormack and the Dons hierarchy finally ending their search for Barry Robson's successor in the dugout, with Swedish boss Jimmy Thelin agreeing to take over when he leaves Elfsborg in the summer. Until then, interim coach Peter Leven will continue to handle first team affairs, and will be hoping to guide the Reds to a second cup final appearance of the season, having narrowly missed out in the final of the Viaplay Cup to Rangers at Hampden back in December.

The former Liverpool boss has already lifted the Scottish Cup twice during his first tenure at Parkhead, and will be desperate to do so again this year, with the winner of Saturday's tie facing the victors of the clash between Rangers and Hearts the following day.

With the most recent encounter between the two sides ending in a 1-1 draw at Pittodrie, both Aberdeen and Celtic will believe they have what it takes to go out and secure their return to the national stadium for the showpiece event on Saturday May 25. Rec
