Philippe Clement's Rangers dressing room demand as title winner flags key issue he knows could prove costly

Craig Moore reckons Philippe Clement will be demanding more from his Rangers stars behind closed doors in ONE key area as he delivered his title race verdict.

The Light Blues missed the chance to go top of the Scottish Premiership table on Wednesday night after a 3-1 win over Ross County at Ibrox. The home side needed to win by three goals to leapfrog Celtic at the summit, with Brendan Rodgers and his troops remaining in top spot with the clubs locked on the same points and goal difference.

It's been a huge turnaround in fortunes for the men from Govan since the Belgian took over the big chair from Michael Beale. They've brought the big points gap that was standing between themselves and Celtic right down while they've also bagged the League Cup trophy with the Scottish Cup and Europa League still up for grabs in the business end. Former Rangers defender Moore reckons the clash with the Staggies was a great chance to go clear at the top and a missed opportunity with lots of chances spurned.

Speaking on Go Radio, he said: "It was a great opportunity for Rangers to go clear on top of the table. There was a lot of chances in the match, there really was. [Cyriel] Dessers gets a couple, he seems to be the player who scores the harder type of goal. He had a couple of other chances, [Rabbi] Matondo as well. Tav [James Tavernier] had a good chance. For me, It should have been six or seven. I know Clement would have been happy with three points and the victory but I see it as a missed opportunity to go clear on top of the table.
