KEITH JACKSON:Celtic. Because isn't it obvious?

CRAIG SWAN: It is impossible to look beyond Celtic. The champions are in pole position to retain.

SCOTT BURNS: You would have to say Celtic are strong favourites although they have still to finalise their summer business. Rangers have done a lot of business but they still need to bring in more hardened first-team regulars.

KEITH: This feels like a strange one. Has Clement really done enough in his first 10 months to prove he's the long term answer? Or have Rangers just locked themselves into a bumper pay off when they decide otherwise?

CRAIG: Massive. It shows the commitment of the manager and that he is aligned with club plans.

SCOTT: It gives Rangers a boost on the eve of the season. Clement has come in and improved them. It now comes down to whether he can wheel and deal to turn Rangers into genuine title contenders.

KEITH: We've not even started yet but it feels like it's going to be a slog for St Johnstone already.

CRAIG: Ross County have been in the play off twice in two years and it might be dodgy for them.

SCOTT: I still feel like St Johnstone are short and a lot of their summer signings have been gambles. Ross County have also needed a play-off to survive in the last two seasons but will their new-look squad improve them?

KEITH: It's not even a contest. Murray wins hands down and there's a strong argument he should be considered as Great Britain's GOAT.

CRAIG: There are too many variables in teams, individual events and the skills needed for specific sports to name a No.1. Murray has to be right up there, though.
