Phil Jones provides injury update and sends message to Manchester United

Manchester United defender Phil Jones has thanked the club for sticking by him throughout his injury troubles.

Jones' time at Old Trafford has been plagued by injury but he managed to return at centre-back for the Reds towards the end of last season. His most recent appearance for United came as a substitute in a 3-0 victory over Brentford in May 2022.

The 31-year-old has not featured since and has continued to struggle with injuries. Jones has yet to play for United under Erik ten Hag but is in attendance at Wembley Stadium ahead of the Carabao Cup final.
