When is the Europa League quarter-final draw and who can Manchester United play?

Manchester United have secured their spot in the last eight of the Europa League after completing an aggregate victory over Real Betis.

Erik ten Hag's side won 1-0 in Spain on Thursday night thanks to a Marcus Rashford goal to complete a 5-1 aggregate success following the 4-1 win at Old Trafford. United, who won the competition in 2017 under Jose Mourinho and were beaten finalists in 2021, now take their place in Friday's draw.

United have already claimed the Carabao Cup this season and face Fulham in the last eight of the FA Cup this weekend as they seek a cup treble. Ten Hag and his side will be keen to add a European trophy this term and are among the favourites for the competition.

United are joined in the quarter-finals by Europa League specialists Sevilla, Italian giants Juventus and Dutch outfit Feyenoord. The remainder of the quarter-final line-up will be confirmed this evening when the other four ties are concluded. Arsenal will be aiming to book their spot as they host Sporting Lisbon with the score 2-2 from the first leg in Portugal.

Bayer Leverkusen and Mourinho's Roma both hold 2-0 leads heading into away ties against Ferencvárosi and Real Sociedad respectively. Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise and German club Union Berlin are tied at 3-3.

United could be drawn against any of the remaining seven sides, with no restrictions placed on who can play who. The draw takes place on Friday at 12pm and will also include the ties for the semi-finals and final.

The quarter-final ties take place on Thursday, April 13 and 20 with the semi-finals on May 11 and 18. The final takes place in Budapest on May 31.
