Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola will be back in front of the media this lunchtime ahead of the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg vs Newcastle United on Tuesday night.
City matched their largest ever winning margin on Saturday when they thrashed League One's Exeter City 10-1 at the Etihad Stadium to advance to the fourth round of the FA Cup. The Blues will be hoping their confidence will translate to another victory at St James' Park.
Guardiola is likely to provide injury updates in his pre-match press conference but it is unlikely any players will return in time for the trip to the north east. New signing Antoine Semenyo is eligible to play in the semi-final as EFL rules dictate a player can play for two clubs in the same Carabao Cup season.
This also means Max Alleyne, who scored his first goal for City at the weekend, can play on Tuesday night despite featuring for Watford earlier in the tournament. Further questions are also expected about the January transfer window and potentially the quadruple as well.
