Paul Pogba's Manchester United future: What has he said and who could he sign for?

Both a World Cup and European Championship winner with the French national team, Paul Pogba's career at club level with Manchester United has been rather different. Having re-joined the Old Trafford side from Juventus back in August 2016 for a fee believed to be close to £90million, United's no.6 has since struggled to consistently find his best form in any of the Red Devils' domestic seasons since his arrival.

Lengthy injury spells, coupled with managerial disputes and positional changes have made it far from plain-sailing for one of the world's most expensive midfielders. Now, with his time seemingly coming to end at Old Trafford upon the completion of the 21/22 campaign, Pogba looks likely to move elsewhere but his next destination still remains a mystery to most.

Many clubs have shown their interest, and with a permanent manager seemingly United's main priority at present, hitting the proverbial reset button may be the best thing for the now 29-year-old.

Speaking while on international duty with France in March, Pogba brutally lifted the lid on his current situation here in Manchester. "Nothing is decided on my future, there is nothing done," he told Telefoot.

"I can decide tomorrow, as I can decide during the transfer window. I want to come back, finish the season well. The season is not over yet, but almost because we don't have any more titles to play for. I want to win titles, to play for something and this year and the last few years we haven't won a title. It's sad."
