Paul Merson at odds with two pundits over Manchester United result vs Nottingham Forest

Manchester United will look to build on Boxing Day’s comeback 3-2 win over Aston Villa against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

They meet their opponents at an inopportune time with the hosts going into this one on the back of an impressive 3-1 win away at Newcastle. And because of this, pundits are at odds over what the score might be.

No one is predicting an easy win for Erik ten Hag’s side, who lie seventh in the table after their first 19 Premier League matches. One analyst believes United will fail to come away with the three points due to their ambiguous form so far this season.

Sutton told BBC Sport: "I really don't know what to expect here. Manchester United were phenomenal in their second-half comeback to beat Villa, and I was really pleased to see Rasmus Hojlund get off the mark in the Premier League.

"As for Nottingham Forest, I don't know where their brilliant win at Newcastle or Chris Wood's hat-trick came from. What will both teams do next? I am going to go with United to maintain their momentum, but I can't say I am totally sure."
