While many of the Tottenham players who have been out on loan are now back in the nest, there are some who are still fighting for important goals.
The loan deals for Troy Parrott, Kion Etete, Nile John and Kacper Kurylowicz have come to an end at MK Dons, Cheltenham, Charlton and Potters Bar Town respectively. Spurs have had 11 loan players out on loan at sides in England, Scotland, France, Spain and Sweden during this second half of the season.
Last summer and in January, some of the club's young players were sent out on loan to get experience, some older players to get more minutes under their belts and others to stick them into the shop window ahead of hoped-for moves this coming summer. Metz have given themselves a real chance of remaining in Ligue 1 and once again Sarr was at the centre of it all.
After weeks either bottom of the table or second from bottom, the club have lifted themselves into the relegation play-off spot in 18th. The team in that place will playoff against a team from the league below to decide who spends next season in the top flight.
Metz have clambered up the table with back-to-back victories and on Saturday they beat Angers 1-0 at home. Sarr played the full 90 minutes and was Whoscored's second highest rated player on the pitch with a score of 7.58. The 19-year-old was heavily involved in the centre of midfield, with his 59 touches of the ball the second highest in the Metz team and he had a pass success rate of 85.7% from his 35 passes.
