Paddy Pimblett called out by fellow UFC star with special London request

Terrance McKinney has once again called for a showdown with Paddy Pimblett, indicating that he wants it to go down in London next year.

In recent times we haven’t seen many fighters make quite as much of an impact in the Ultimate Fighting Championship as Paddy Pimblett. The eccentric Liverpudlian is 3-0 with the promotion and in his last two outings, he’s been serenaded to the Octagon by thousands upon thousands of cheering fans at London’s O2 Arena.

‘The Baddy’ thrives off of that kind of atmosphere and when looking ahead to the future, it’s near enough impossible to determine just how far up the ladder he can go in the sport.

Of course, he isn’t the only one making waves in the lightweight division, with Terrance McKinney also being a rising star who has used his incredible speed and overall style to draw the attention of UFC president Dana White.

It goes beyond White, too, with a parade of fans being excited to see what the 28-year-old will do next at 155 pounds.

Something he’s toyed with before is the idea of meeting Paddy Pimblett in the middle of the cage.

McKinney initially called for a scrap between the two at MSG or in Abu Dhabi, and at the time, he had the following to say about the match-up.

“I think it’s just right, man,” McKinney said. “The fans will love it. I think it’s just about time for us to clash. It’s just a matter of time. Even if it’s not this year, it’s going to come. Me and Paddy will headline a [UFC show]. It’s going to be a sellout fight.
