Paddy McGuinness shares new Take Me Out photo and fans make same demand

For a decade Paddy McGuinness kept television viewers entertained by hosting the hit ITV dating game show Take Me Out. The programme - known for its catchphrases including "No likey, no lighty!" and the fictional Isle of Fernando's where would-be couples were said to travel to - ran for 11 series from 2010 to 2019 but now Paddy has been referencing it again.

Paddy has shared a new photo linked to his old show - leading fans to make the same demand. The Bolton-born Top Gear and A Question of Sport presenter spotted something while out and about that he remarked upon on to his social media followers.

Writing on Instagram, Paddy posted a picture of a charity shop window in which a pink box with the Take Me Out logo could be seen on one of the shelves. He also included a close-up which revealed the item to be an electronic board game version of the ITV series, complete with a "light and sound unit with Paddy McGuiness' voice" according to the blurb on the packaging, to which a £2.99 price sticker had been attached.

Paddy captioned his post by joking: "Swipe left for a bargain #TakeMeOut."

Fans immediately started saying the same thing in the comments. @dadmattersuk said: "I hope you went in and signed it for them! Add a couple quid on for them, do your bit for charity!"

@jenniesweetpea commented "sign it and they could put the price up to a fiver" while @danielle_mitchell88 said: "Go in and sign it."

@pollyb2 also urged him to "deffo sign it" while @hannyrose79 said: "Either sign it or buy it."
