Opinion: Leicester City should strengthen transfer interest in Swansea City player

Leicester City are set for a summer of rebuild, as per a report from The Telegraph. 

Currently sitting 10th in the Premier League, the Foxes have struggled to meet the expectations that are now required of the highly-ambitious top tier outfit. 

There have certainly been reasons to be positive about this campaign, with the rise of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and their European adventure perhaps being the highlights thus far, however, they will be looking to recruit in the summer to bolster competition levels once more and to drive themselves back into the top-six conversation. 

The sustainability factor also plays a massive role as the Foxes cast their eyes to the summer, with the vastly-experienced Jamie Vardy possessing a little over a year left on his current deal, whilst Jonny Evans is in the same position. 

Therefore, ensuring they have more youthful options prepared for the rigours of battling at the top end of the Premier League will also be placed high up on the priority list. 

With that being said, one player they should look to strengthen their interest in is Swansea City striker Joel Piroe. 

According to Dutch outlet Voetbal International, the Foxes are interested in a summer move for the young forward.
