Oleksandr Usyk vs Anthony Joshua 2: Usyk looked calm as he messed with Eddie Hearn

Oleksandr Usyk looked incredibly calm ahead of his rematch with Anthony Joshua, joking with Eddie Hearn at the weigh-in as the promoter was being interviewed by IFL TV.

He shocked us all at the weigh-in, registering just half a pound up on the first fight despite it appearing he had considerably bulked up.

In contrast, AJ put the pounds on, only four and a half up on their first fight, but it makes the difference between the two fighters even greater this time around, creating interesting viewing later tonight.

The undercard is underway in Saudi Arabia prior to the Rage on the Red Sea which will be much later in the day for those watching in the UK.

Everything you need to know about the fight can be found here, including how to watch it, UK ring walk times and information about the full card

Usyk has been entertaining us all in the build-up to the fight with his ‘I am feel’ response to interviewers asking him how he was, with him doing the same when crashing an interview with Eddie Hearn at the weigh-in.

He’s clearly very relaxed ahead of his first defence of the titles he took from his British counterpart in September last year.

After he shared pleasantries with Eddie Hearn, the Ukrainian showed off his new ring to the promoter whilst a member of his team boasted one of his titles in the background.

He is clearly unfazed by the occasion, it will surely take a much improved performance from AJ if he is to compete with the Ukrainian who got the better of him last time out via a unanimous decision.
