Nutritionist shares soup recipe which will nourish and energise those feeling unwell

A soup recipe hailed as 'amazing' for those feeling under the weather has gone viral.

When you're down with a cold or feeling weak, there's hardly anything more comforting than a hot bowl of soup. It's especially 'true' during times when illness can zap your appetite away.

Soup often stands out as an enjoyable dish, offering vital nutrients to help restore ones energy.

Talking about the soup Dr Wallace – who said she was suffering from a viral infection at the time of posting it – said: "This is my go to soup recipe when I'm feeling run down and want something quick but nourishing. What's your go-to comfort food when you feel unwell?"

The recipe garnered a deluge of praise from devotees, quickly racking up over 37,000 likes. One ecstatic fan exclaimed: "I made this soup and I have something to say...... THIS WAS AMAZING."
