"Now in a very awkward situation" - Journalist drops Man United claim amid huge Romano update

Manchester United are in a “very awkward” situation where none of their main forwards are happy right now, claims transfer insider Dean Jones.

After his omission from United’s starting XI in their 4-1 derby defeat to Manchester City, plenty of talk has emerged about Marcus Rashford’s future at Old Trafford.

One of their star forwards, Rashford, is now thought to be considering his future at the club, with the 24-year-old barely featuring of late.

Prior to the City loss, he played just 16 minutes in the 0-0 draw with Watford and failed to make an appearance at all in the win away at Leeds United.

According to the reliable Fabrizio Romano, Rashford is now weighing up his options but a final decision is likely to take time.

The transfer guru also claimed that Paris Saint-Germain have shown an interest in Rashford before, so it will be interesting to see if they make a move for the Englishman in the summer should he decide it is time to move on.

Following this new development surrounding Rashford, Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that United are now in a situation where none of their leading forwards are happy.

Speaking to GMS, the football journalist said: “As a coach, it’s kind of your job to get a player like Rashford to perform. I think we’re now in a very awkward situation at United where none of their main forwards are happy.”

It is clear to see that United’s forwards are not loving life under manager Ralf Rangnick.
