"I wouldn't rule out…" – Sky Sports reporter makes interesting Manchester United claim

Manchester United can still qualify for the Champions League, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

Ralf Rangnick’s side have fallen behind Arsenal and Tottenham in the race to play in Europe’s elite competition next season, but the Red Devils still remain in touch with fourth place.

Wins for the North London pair last weekend mean that United head into the international break sitting sixth in the Premier League table but are only four points behind fourth.

The Old Trafford outfit have played a game more than fourth place Arsenal and have a worse goal difference than the Gunners, but still have to travel to the Emirates next month, while there’s a North London derby to come before the season finishes.

Furthermore, Arsenal have to travel to Chelsea and West Ham, while Tottenham face a trip to Anfield in early May.

United’s own fixture list is far from straightforward, although Bridge believes that Rangnick’s side remain firmly in the race to finish fourth.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “I wouldn’t rule out Manchester United of the top four race because it’s Manchester United.”

Tottenham and Arsenal might have some tricky games on the horizon, but United arguably have the toughest fixture list of the lot.
