Nottingham Forest 'still keen' to land Dean Henderson and more Manchester United transfer rumours

Reports suggest that Nottingham Forest are still pushing for the signature of Dean Henderson despite links with Arsenal back-up Matt Turner.

Manchester United shot-stopper Henderson is convinced a permanent move to the City Ground is forthcoming despite a hold-up.

Andre Onana has replaced David de Gea as United’s No.1 but there is still ambiguity over Erik ten Hag’s No.2. Tom Heaton had his year-long extension in his contract triggered earlier this summer but the goalkeeper is frustrated with a lack of game time.

Nathan Bishop has left for Sunderland while Matej Kovar could leave on loan before deadline day. United could bring in around £30m for Henderson, who lambasted his parent club's treatment of him upon his loan to Forest last year.

United are open to a loan with an obligation-to-buy clause for Henderson, 26, as long as the fee from Forest is received by January. Nottinghamshire Live says Forest are still after the England international despite reports of interest in Arsenal's Turner.
