Dean Henderson's five-word message for Andre Onana after Manchester United debut win vs Wolves
Dean Henderson has praised Manchester United teammate Andre Onana for a 'great debut' in Monday night's 1-0 win over Wolves.
United kicked of their 2023/2024 Premier League campaign with three points thanks to Raphael Varane's second-half header. The French defender nodded home from close range on 76 minutes after Aaron Wan-Bissaka looped in a teasing cross.
Erik ten Hag's side were far from their best and came up against an electric Wolves outfit who were unlucky not to get something from the game. They registered a massive 23 shots on the night and gave Onana a stern test on his competitive debut.

The 27-year-old stood up to that test and managed to keep a clean sheet, although he was fortunate not to concede a penalty in added-time. On Tuesday, he posted a picture of himself from the game alongside the caption: "Great victory for the team. Happy for the three points & keep working hard."
And Henderson was among those to send a message to the new Reds goalkeeper. He wrote: "Let’s go! Great debut bro".
Despite being convinced of a permanent move to Nottingham Forest all summer, Henderson could now stay at United with Onana for the season. Ten Hag suggested in the build-up to Monday's clash that the 26-year-old could be kept on board after a calf injury suffered by Tom Heaton.
"He was always in my mind," Ten Hag said of Henderson. "So I think we have a strong keeper group with Onana, Henderson, Heaton."
