"No need" - I'm a Celebrity viewers jump to Sam Thompson's defence

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here viewers have rushed to Sam Thompson's defence after he clashed with a fellow campmate.

Just prior to a trial, the radio DJ had a less-than-stellar interaction with YouTuber Nella Rose. The pair tried to engage in a quick meditation session to gather the "energy we need for this trial".

However, it quickly turned into Nella seemingly instructing Sam to calm down after he was acting excited. Unfortunately, fans have hit out against Nella's actions, with some accusing her of telling Sam how he should act.

One user on Instagram, said: "DON'T TELL OUR SAM HOW TO ACT i no longer like Nella." While another user said: "Can we talk about how Nella was telling Sam to calm down, when she's the one screaming in the trials????"

A third user said: "Don't start on our golden retriever puppy Sam." A fourth said: "He is just trying to be positive and she is still moaning! Love Sam!"

Another added: "I like Sam's energy and positivity. Why does Nella want to tone it down?"

Some fans claimed that Sam was simply excited because he has ADHD. One user said: "Omg telling Sam (with ADHD) to calm down. How is this being allowed to happen?"

A second said: "Poor Sam!! If she was the one with ADHD and someone spoke to her like that, I can imagine how she would react...!"
