I'm A Celebrity viewers cry 'this is the result' as they work out reason for Nick Pickard exit

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here viewers were left crying out 'this is the result' after sharing their thoughts as to why Nick Pickard was the latest campmate to be given his jungle marching orders. The Hollyoaks star received the fewest votes from the public during the latest 'vote to save', following Frankie Dettori, Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix out of camp.

During his time Down Under, Nick, famed for playing Tony Hutchinson in the Channel 4 soap, competed regularly in various trials where he faced snakes and other animals. Upon his exit, the 48-year-old told presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly he felt "great" at being told to leave the Australian jungle after almost three weeks.

He added: "It’s been amazing to be around, but it’s just after the second week… It’s really tough." Nick said he went into the show for his family, saying: “My niece, my nephew, my daughter, my girlfriend, everyone wanted me to be in (it)… I’ve never been asked before so to be honest, it is a lifetime experience in it but that was the reason, not to really to show (as) I know who I am."

But I'm A Celeb fans were shocked to see Nick leaving and think they worked out the reason why. @jesspea_ said: "I’m not getting over this bereavement itv robbed nick off his screen time and this is the result- I MISS HIM ALREADY #ImACeleb." @drakesrogue commented: "So sad that the first night nick got decent screen time he was voted out #imaceleb."
