Cesaro: Ex-WWE star casually deadlifting 500lbs is genuinely bonkers

For many years, WWE said that Cesaro was, pound-for-pound, the strongest wrestler on the entire roster, and new training footage has reinforced that point.

Cesaro left WWE in February of this year, with the former United States Champion failing to agree to a new contract after his existing deal had expired.

Fast forward four months, and Cesaro made his first appearance since leaving WWE at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on Sunday night, debuting as Claudio Castagnoli.

At the show, Claudio appeared and wrestled Zack Sabre Jr, replacing Bryan Danielson who had been ruled out of the show through injury.

Claudio is now part of the AEW roster, and fans are very excited to see now that he’s wrestling outside of WWE for the first time in over ten years.

Fans have every right to be excited about what Cesaro has to offer, with his strength being one of the key parts to his game.

That was on full display yesterday, with an insane clip of the former WWE Superstar casually deadlifting 500lbs emerging on social media.

As you can see below, Cesaro executed the lift with ease, despite thw weight on the bar being insanely heavily. Seriously, it was stupidly impressive.

What makes the clip even more impressive is that it came just one day after his match with Zack Sabre Jr, as the hosts of the Twitch Rivals show mentioned.

Claudio just casually deadlifting 500lbs while the hosts talk about his match last night and him doing this after that. Ya love to see it.
