Nicolas Kuhn is Celtic transfer 'target' as Rapid Vienna demands are laid bare if business is to be done

Nicolas Kuhn has emerged as a potential January transfer target for Celtic, according to a report.

The former Ajax and Bayern Munich man is currently plying his trade with Rapid Vienna and can play both as a winger and striker with Brendan Rodgers keen to boost his options. The Hoops gaffer will be without Oh Hyeon-gyu, Hyunjun Yang and Daizen Maeda in the attacking positions with the trio called up for Asian Cup duty, but Kyogo Furuhashi will remain at Parkhead after his Japan snub.

Rodgers has made his intentions clear over recent weeks and months about adding real 'quality' additions to his ranks. The Scottish Sun stating Rapid are likely to demand at leas four times the £500,000 fee they shelled out for Kuhn 18 months ago to do business with the Scottish champions.
