New Order at Wythenshawe Park - stage times, support acts, how to get there, map and parking

Manchester music legends New Order will play their eagerly-anticipated homecoming show at Wythenshawe Park this weekend. It marks their first live performance of the year so fans are sure to be in for a treat.

The special homecoming show also marks their first headline show in the city since 2021. The gig is part of a full weekend of live music at Wythenshawe Park, a year since fellow Manc music idol Noel Gallagher became the first to ever play a live gig in the setting.

It is hoped that these huge outdoor music celebrations at the historic park will become an annual fixture on the live music calendar.

Fans heading along on Saturday can expect a full bill of musical entertainment across the day and night, including from Wythenshawe's own Johnny Marr, before New Order take to the stage.

From the ashes of the legendary band Joy Division, New Order triumphed over tragedy to emerge as one of the most influential and acclaimed bands of all time.

Last year, the band celebrated 40 years of their hit Blue Monday and announced reissued editions of their classic compilation Substance 1987, the band’s biggest-selling album to date.

As to what to expect from the setlist on this gig, well, fans will undoubtedly be hoping for some of Joy Division and New Order's biggest anthems on the night. Their last gig, in 2023, featured the likes of Ceremony, Regret, Temptation, True Faith, and Love Will Tear Us Apart.

It's a huge bill of entertainment for this show so fans are encouraged to get down early. Smiths legend (and Wythenshawe's finest) Johnny Marr will be performing, in what is set to be an unmissable performance.

Also on the bill is Roisin
