New Manchester City signing could repeat Emmanuel Adebayor as date set for Arsenal showdown

It was in September 2009 that Manchester City forward Emmanuel Adebayor wrote his name into the Premier League history books.

The Togolese striker, who had joined City from Arsenal not even two months prior, posted one of football's most iconic celebrations after finding the back of the net against the Gunners in a 4-2 win, running the whole length of the Etihad pitch to celebrate in front of the travelling fans.
